All of the art is done by hand with exacto knives, scissors, and glue sticks on 4.25” by 5.5” pieces of paper. These are NOT digital collages, and the written meaning behind each are NEVER AI generated.

Each piece of this collage art is hand-crafted and not digitally altered. You will see cut marks, that like our scars, tell important stories.

Each piece began with an intention, and from that intention were born into being through relaxing my mind and collecting images that spoke to me to represent the concept.

I have been creating over the last almost 15 years. There are 32 pieces per deck, each telling their story, and that story varies in the eye of each beholder. The invitation to you is to gaze deeply into each creation and sit with the Insight they offer you in this present moment. 

These are offered to you in hope that they inspire insight from within that supports you in this very moment.

How to Use These Cards

Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Feel into your body. Release that breath. DO this as many times as it takes to come into presence with yourself. It may take 30 seconds, it may take 30 minutes. You get to decide. 

That is the beauty in these Insight cards, YOU get to decide how to engage with them. You cannot do it “wrong.” There is no prescription, the power is in YOUR hands. 

My Art Viewing Process 

When I go to a museum to look at a piece of art, I start a good distance away. I allow the art to speak to me and I let the stories that my mind, body, spirit and soul collaborate to create run free. When I feel full I move closer, and see how the art changes, and repeat the initial process. When I am satisfied I look at the placard near the art and just read the title, and imagine how that plays with the story that I made up. I then look at it again to try and imagine why the artist created the title, knowing that I can never truly know. Finally I read whatever description someone has slapped on it, disregarding or incorporating it, whatever suits my fancy. 

As I shared, there is no right or wrong way to engage with these cards. In this example I hope to illustrate how there are many interpretations for art, not exactly right or wrong. 

When I play with these cards with others, I will pull one and ask the folks with me to share what they see. I always get insights so far beyond what the constraints of my own bias will allow me to see. I do the same for others in turn.

When I play with them myself, I will often pull a card with my left hand to receive guidance about what I am to take in right now, and with my right to guide me on what I am putting out. 

There are a myriad of spreads you can research online to decide how you engage, or make one up that speaks to you!

Ok Ok, you got me. Each card was made with a certain intention. I am in the process of writing and releasing the book that describes each card. It is not complete, and I am releasing one card per week.
